“My intent is to open a dialog with viewers using the images from my personal experiences, travels, and issues growing up as a bi-racial, adopted child. By expressing my fears, regrets, hopes, and dreams, I am working to accept who I am, and encourage viewers to do the same for themselves. Through the act of exposing myself openly with these images, I want viewers to question what is usually taboo. The purpose is to reach a unified understanding that we are all human, wanting and needing forgiveness, acceptance, love, and patience not only from others, but most importantly from ourselves.”
